Project magazine Rosa Spier Huis Laren

A lifetime of art, a unique interweaving of living, care and art

In existence for 45 years, the Rosa Spier House no longer meets the standards of today. As a result, the desired care cannot be guaranteed. Corridors and doorways are too narrow, living units and bathrooms too small, and facilities inadequate. That’s why the complex is set to be replaced by new development containing volumes devoted to culture and care, and four apartment blocks for assisted living, set in the wooded surroundings of Laren, a stone’s throw from the original building.
